The Metis Child and Family Services Authority exists to strengthen and support the health and well-being of Metis families and communities. Today, with the creation of a Metis specific child and family services system, we are taking control of our destiny as a people – building a solid foundation of support for Metis families now and into the future.

This means working together with our Agency, our governments, our community and other key stakeholders to create Metis specific solutions that are responsive and sensitive to our collective history, experiences, culture and values. And by weaving together a holistic array of quality mandated and prevention/support based programs and services, we aim to build the capacity of Metis families and communities to care for themselves and each other.
